Kaelan Keller LCPC, founder and owner of Keller Therapy Services, received his Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Frostburg State University in 2021. He has since gone on to work with adults and adolescents with substance-use disorder in both residential and outpatient settings. Kaelan has experience working with various mental health related concerns, ranging from everyday life stressors to serious and persistent mental illness. He also has experience working with those who have or are experiencing intimate partner violence.

    Kaelan has gone on to work with adults and adolescents with substance-use disorder in both residential and outpatient settings. Kaelan has over 3 years of experience in substance use, helping a variety of clients at various stages of recovery. Kaelan finds addiction counseling to be his passion and expertise.

  • Intimate Partner Violence

    Kaelan has experience working with those who have or are experiencing intimate partner violence. Keller often gives psychoeducation on the stages of abusive relationships, and remains empathic on why most individuals struggle to leave. Often, individuals in these relationships feel shame, guilt, and that nobody else understands. Kaelan is here to offer empathy and understanding.

  • Women's Issues

    Kaelan has experience working with issues that may be specific to women. Many women struggle with body image and self-esteem due to societal pressures and unrealistic beauty standards. Kaelan helps clients develop a positive self-image, fostering self-acceptance and confidence through therapeutic techniques and supportive counseling. His therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, providing a safe space for healing and empowerment. Central to his work is the empowerment of women.

  • Depression

    Kaelan has extensive experience in treating depression, he employs a multifaceted approach to support his clients. Kaelan integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), coping skills development, psychoeducation, and talk therapy to provide comprehensive and effective care. He often will use other therapies that focus on the thought process that comes with being depressed.
